The first thing we did at NARAM 50 was to get our Sky of Gold launches off.  We stopped by the Semroc booth and met Vern and Gleda Estes.  They were very gracious and clearly still retained the passion and sense of fun for the sport.  Vern autographed our Scouts for “good luck” and talked to us about the particulars of loading the motor in this model.  We flew both of our models on A10-3s and they performed great.  Christopher’s was so superbly balanced that it came down in a prefect flat spin.  What a remarkable design!  It was a great experience!
