Finally flew the very cool Hawk Mountain Raptor. This is a great rocket! It was built it to take a RattWorks hybrid but the maiden flight was done on a Road Runner G80-10. I was a little concerned that the delay might be long due to the weight of the rocket but that was not a problem at all. The Road Runner motor pushed it hard and it was still on the way up (just barely) when the ejection went off. The Raptor flew straight as an arrow and landed just 30 yards from the pad. Outstanding flight!!!
